Seasonal cleaning in Tashkent: spring, autumn and after winter

Tashkent's sharp seasonal shifts bring dusty storms in spring, heat in summer and dry air in winter. Each season brings its own dirt. Here's when and how to do seasonal cleaning so your home stays fresh year-round.

1Spring cleaning: March–April

After winter, dust, dry heating air, and stale smells accumulate throughout the apartment. A spring deep clean covers: washing all windows, clearing the balcony, airing out wardrobes, washing curtains and seat covers. Tashkent gets its first dust storms in spring — wash windows before and after the first storms.

2Summer cleaning: fighting dust and heat

In summer, dust enters through air conditioners and open windows. Wipe windowsills regularly and clean entrance mats. Clean air conditioner filters once a month — it's both a hygiene issue and a cooling efficiency issue. CleanTime offers air conditioner cleaning as an add-on service.

3Autumn cleaning: preparing for winter

Before the heating season — a full deep clean: remove summer dust, check ventilation, wash windows (cleaning the outside in winter is much harder). Wash warm blankets and prepare winter footwear — mud from outside is especially noticeable during winter.

4After winter: what's often forgotten

Radiators and heaters — a year's worth of dust. Light fixtures and the tops of wardrobes. Rugs — a post-winter dry clean removes accumulated dust and moisture. Upholstered furniture — freshen it up before the summer season.

5Book seasonal cleaning

CleanTime recommends a deep clean at least twice a year — in spring and autumn. For apartments with children or allergy sufferers — four times a year. Book via +998 700 800 333 or @Cleant1me. Tashkent, seven days a week, from 120,000 UZS.
